Episcopal Relief & Development is working to help stop the Ebola crisis with the Episcopal Church of Liberia and the Anglican Diocese of Bo in Sierra Leone. The existing infrastructure and reach of our Church partners has enabled them to provide protective personal equipment, basic sanitary and hygiene materials as well as critical food supplies to under-resourced hospitals and clinics in the affected areas.

WHO WE ARE
The church's first congregation met above the Munnerlyn's General Store, on the waterfront at the foot of a sandy road called Cleveland Street. The Sunday nearest All Saints Day of 1885 was the day on which they decided to found a mission church, and it was named "Ascension," because said Mrs. Munnerlyn, "it was a miracle the way our church did ascend from our prayers!" We still gather on Sundays and during the week to encourage each other on our faith journeys! Using the gifts of the Holy Spirit, we seek God's grace and then endeavor to show the face of Jesus to our parish family and community. Click to set custom HTML
