Medical Mission: October 12th & 19th
New Opportunity to Reach out and Help Others: Medical Mission We are invited to join Father Bill Shiflet and other Episcopal Churches in Florida and Maryland to give medical aid to St. Mary’s in Port Maria, Jamaica. On October 5th, Father Bill will present his testimony of the impact giving help and aid to the peoples of St. Mary’s has had on his life and the lives of those who participate. Last year 50 doctors, nurses, and volunteers gave a week of their time, expertise, and talents to give aid to over 2000 people in Port Maria. Next year, 2015, is the 25th anniversary of the Medical Mission project. You are invited to participate in one (or more) of the following ways: 1. Pray for those who work on the mission trip 2. Bring over-the-counter drugs (click here for list) to support the mission 3. Contribute monies to the Mission 4.
